Caleb Simmons and my collection
It is long over due for me to have an introduction page. I love God first and foremost. I have been married for 4 years now to my wonderful wife Della who helped put me through college. I attended college at UAH obtaining a degree in Computer Engineering. That landed me a job at Dynetics which is where I have worked for the last 2.5 years. I also enjoy lots of computer and console games.
My favorites are:
-XCOM UFO Defense (Totally awesome game which you can get for free online now)
-Starcraft
-Diablo 2
-Odin's sphere
-Secret of Mana
I also enjoy Origami which is the art of paper folding. And I am really into magic the gathering. Got lots of friends who are into it that I meet and play with every week. And as you all know I really enjoy my Tarantulas!
My pets are (Including my wife's pets):
4 Dogs (1 mutt, 2 greyhounds, 1 Chinese Crested)
2 Snakes ( Mexican Black King and a California King)
5 African Black Millipedes
2 Crested Geckos
26 Tarantulas

Re: Caleb Simmons and my collection
I am a little concerned about my Brazilian Red and White (Nhandu chromatus). He was my first Tarantula (Named Simon). I got him in November and he was less then 1 inch in diameter. He is now about 6 inches! And definitely a mature male. The hooks are clearly visible. This concerns me because I thought it to be fairly young due to its size when I bought it. I didn't expect it to show maturity this early. What is going on and does anyone have a female???
Thanks!
Thanks!

Also my Purple Treespider (Tapinauchenius violaceus). I bought her when she was about 1 inch in diameter. She is now 2.5 nearly 3 and she laid a infertile egg sac which she graded for several days then ate. Is that common behavior ? ?

Re: Caleb Simmons and my collection
Polar Sheep and I play magic as well, although we don't play anything after the time spiral block due to nothing good being released since then. Secret of Mana is one of the best games EVER!!!! Been playing Starcraft since it came out, and used to be a Diablo II junkie. Might have to check out that UFO defense. is it a RTS?

Xcom Demo download.
http://download.cnet.com/X-COM-UFO-Defense-demo/3000-7562_4-10003228.html
Xcom is a turn based strategy game. Looks like ESA is now protecting it and that Steam is selling it in a bundle with later versions which were crap compared to the original. At one point it was considered abandon ware.
On Magic the Gathering I have been buying the 4x common uncommon sets off ebay.
So far I got 4 of every common and uncommon from:
Shards of Alara
And a bunch of other older cards that I got from a friend who was getting out of it because of the $$.

I got plenty of shadowmoor if you want it. My friends and I all play Timespiral block or older. I got sick of playing the same 10 decks remade over and over again in tournaments anyways.

Congrats, i know that feels good. I just had that situation with my red knee a month or two ago. Saturday sounds good. Polar Sheep will probably want to go too unless he's got something to do. What would be a good time to meet Saturday?

I think it would be relatively safe to handle ANY T so long as the T allows it and the handler knows what they are doing. As with handling any T keep it close to the ground and watch for sudden burst of movement that could result in a fall/Injury. and always remember every time you handle a T you risk injury to yourself or the T.

Re: Caleb Simmons and my collection
I personally handle all of mine. My skeleton hasn't been handled in a while due to his bad attitude though. I don't handle the Cobalt too often either for te same reason. But they'll let you know if they don't want to be handled.

Most definitely. We could always meet up at Book Mark or the Deep if that's closer for you. They also have plenty of tables and space.

Re: Caleb Simmons and my collection
Its cool. I ended up having a good day with my brother playing magic and Starcraft. I am really not a fan of the deep. The book mark sounds cool. Never been there but I would like to check it out. It is a bit of a drive but I don't mind. Gives me yet another reason to stop my Angels. Angels is the best coffee shop in the world. And I know she wouldn't mind us playing there if you wanted. It is actually much closer for me but whatever.

Where's Angel's I wouldn't mind meeting at a coffee shop anyways. I'm not too big on the deep either, i'd rather hit Book Mark anyways. We can hit up this Angel's place.
